What do you want to take away from the conference to use immediately back on your job?

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS AND QUESTION FROM THE FACILITATOR (added 5/31/08)

Greetings Public Sector Participants!!

Isn't it great to be here in San Diego for this year's ASTD International Conference?  This marks my first ASTD conference, and I anticipate a wonderful week of learning and networking.

In addition to the question above (What do you want to take away from the conference and use on your job?), I would like to add a few more questions for you to consider prior to our dialogue on Tuesday:

1. What are the three most important things that you learned in your sessions?

2. Identify the first step to implementing one of your three.

     a. When will you start?

     b. What challenges and obstacles have to met or overcome?

     c. How committed are you (1-10)?

     d. What resources—people, time, money, etc.—do you need to accomplish this goal?

3. How can we continue to be resources to one another after we leave the conference?

4. How would you like to use this wiki to continue to share information and reinforce our learning goals?

Please post other questions you'd like to add to the discussion, using a different color font or posting a separate message below mine here.

I look forward to meeting you over the coming days!

Have fun this week!
